Work From Home: How to increase your bottom line

ABC News’ Good Morning America ran a segment just recently singing the praises of home based business. Finally, it appears that Direct Sales is becoming mainstream. This industry has certainly had it’s share of publicity. Many people are under the impression that it is illegal or maybe just ‘not worth the effort’.

According to the Direct Selling Association, last year there were more than 15 million direct-sales representatives in [America], which is an increase of more than a million people over the previous year. Many of those people are content earning the median income of $2,500 a year, while others want to generate that figure per month. “

The reality is that the direct sales industry can add value to just about anyone’s life. Either by creating a modest supplemental income, a full time replacement income, or even just a fun and exciting pass time. The choice is yours, and that in itself tends to be the limiting factor for most people. They simply do not have the drive to take action and perform the daily activities required in order to achieve their goals.

I am currently reading a book called “Why we want you to be rich” by Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki. I believe it is important to note that these men point to the personal growth opportunities that are associated with running a Home Based Business. They strongly recommend that you choose your company carefully and that you base the decision on the training programs and leadership of the company. The concept of the direct sales industry is very simple. Word of mouth advertising is widely recognized as the most powerful form of advertising. Therefore, rather than pay for advertising, the companies reward their customers for referrals.

Where the industry sometimes breaks down is when reps are not properly trained. Oftentimes leading to the opposite effect and pushing potential customers away.The bottom line really is that if the product is solid and provides results, and you are given the proper training, then Direct Sales can be a very fruitful investment in time and money. You may be able to enjoy a top quality product and earn an extra income by referring it to others. Then, those who are interested, can take it to the next level by teaching others to do the same, thereby creating leverage.

    I’ve recently finished reading “Why We Want You To Be Rich” also. I found it to be an extremely powerful book. I thought Robert Kiyosaki and Donald Trump did an awesome job putting the book together. They provide valuable insight into many ways to create wealth and increase your financial education. Both man are very successful and love to teach others to be successful too. I love the reason they praise network marketing and direct sales. I have experience the personal development first hand from my time in the industry. I love it and believe that personal growth is one of the foundations of the industry. It is critical for everyone to continue to learn and grow during their life time. Direct Sales and Network Marketing provide a perfect catalyst to get you on that path.
