Wordpress Blogging Software
ByWow… I never knew what was possible with blogging software these days.
This weekend past I spent some time installing Wordpress on my Linux server so that I could have more freedom with my blog. I was amazed at how fast it installed. I was even more excited about the web2.0 technology that is built in (or available through plugins).
Believe it or not this whole site is 100% template. Which means that I didn’t have to do anything in an HTML editor. There is a great back end dashboard just like all the online blogging sites, and there are tons of “look & feel” templates to choose from.
To top it all off, there is an “import” feature that allowed me to import my entire blog, comments and all from Blogger.
Unbelievable… So simple, yet so powerful.
yes yes i guess the wp2.4 will be really something what you will find even more usefull
I migrated to Drupal (www.drupal.org) because it does the blog stuff but also has CMS features and a _really_ healthy module ecosystem.
